Loyal followers of the pop star are calling for that a person who leaped a fence and touched the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be detained or removed from Singapore.

A circulating video shows the Australian man pushing past camera operators and lunging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a yellow carpet accompanied by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "released after being arrested", though court documents revealed that he was due to attend court on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram feed contains recordings of him interrupting other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney show in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the city last winter.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is evidently a punishable act," wrote an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Express Concern Over the Star's Safety

Numerous fans blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said a further message on Instagram.

Some fans also faulted security officers at the gathering for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals requested social media platforms to block Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In clips spreading on the internet, Grande looked startled when she was touched by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Many of supporters had gathered in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore shopping center, including a number who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The movie, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a two-film interpretation of the well-known theatrical show Wicked, which focuses on the surprising bond between two contrasting characters.

The production itself is a spin-off of the 1900 story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a light pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the Elphaba, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning motion picture of 2024 in the UK, and received 10 Academy Award nods, winning a pair for outstanding attire and set decoration.
